CPC Approves LACC Expansion Entitlements

The City Planning Commission (CPC) approved entitlements for the expansion and modernization of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) and adjoining JW Marriott hotel complex. This expansion includes construction of a new structure that connects West Hall with South Hall to form one contiguous exhibit hall and a redesign of Gilbert Lindsay Plaza to improve functionality and make it a park-like area. This project will help make Los Angeles a more competitive convention destination and expand the number of hotel rooms within walking distance of the LACC.
