The Tourism Cabinet had its first familiarization tour on July 28, with LA City department general managers and executive directors joining CTD Executive Director and Chief Tourism Officer Doane Liu to get a behind-the-scenes look into the City's tourism industry. The itinerary began at the Los Angeles Country Club for a briefing on the upcoming 2023 U.S. Open, then Jason Foster, President and COO, shared the vision and status of Destination Crenshaw. After visiting the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures with the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, the day ended with a tour at the recently opened Conrad Los Angeles.
