Last week, the LA Convention Center marked 50 eventful years with a celebration with City and State officials, event organizers, Convention Center partners, the DTLA hospitality community, and current and former LACC employees. The program featured Doane Liu (City Tourism Department), Mayor Eric Garcetti, Adam Burke (LA Tourism and Convention Board), Ron Bension (ASM Global), and Ellen Schwartz (LACC). At the celebration, LACC launched a Hall of Fame and recognized three events as the 2021 inductees: Anime Expo, the LA Auto Show, and Ski Dazzle.
